Julianne McNamee is a visual artist from Ottawa, Ontario. Her work explores themes of womanhood and imagination through everyday scenes filled with softness and nostalgia.

Inspired by the summers she spends in the quiet wilderness of Algonquin Park, her practice blends the poetry of nature with simple, intimate moments.

She primarily works with acrylic and often incorporates three-dimensional elements, building her own canvases and frames so they become part of the painting’s world.
