Instructor

Jeff Collins is an animator, artist, and educator with over eight years of experience working in the animation industry and teaching emerging artists. His professional work has included 2D animation, rigging, retakes, and animation supervision on productions such as Rick and Morty, Curious George, Pinecone & Pony, and The Last Kids on Earth.

Alongside his industry work, Jeff has been a teacher of animation and art at Algonquin College since 2021, with a focus on drawing, character animation, visual storytelling, and helping students develop their own artistic voice. 

His own practice is rooted in drawing, animation, character performance, and storytelling, with a particular interest in how strong foundational drawing skills can be applied to animation and other forms of visual storytelling.
