Spencer is an animator and filmmaker from Ottawa, Ontario, with experience in both commercial and independent animation. He has spent years working as an animator and supervisor in the television animation industry, while also bringing his skills to projects in development and animated shorts. In his own films, Spencer puts all his skills to use, writing, drawing, animating, and writing silly little songs.

Spencer believes strongly in the importance of community building and creating space for fellow animators to share their work. In 2023, he founded Animation Show n Tell Ottawa with fellow animator Dae Laliberte, an annual showcase that brings together local animation talent to screen their latest work for a sold-out crowd.
