You'll learn what went into planning and launching ASNTO: figuring out what the event should be, finding a venue, getting people through the door, dividing up the work, and learning from each year. Instead of looking at other cities' animation events with envy, we thought: what if we created something of our own?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom there, we'll look at the important first steps of how we turned the idea into an event instead of just talking about it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003ePart 2: Planning \u0026amp; Finding Your Audience\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWho is the event for? What do you want people to experience? How do you give your event an identity that will connect with your audience?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe'll talk about choosing the name, figuring out what the event is really about, and finding the people who will actually come.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003ePart 3: Logistics \u0026amp; Making It Happen\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe'll get into the nitty-gritty of running an event: finding a venue, working out the costs, figuring out doors and seating, communicating expectations, and dealing with the things that inevitably go wrong.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eASNTO has always been a group effort. We'll talk about how to divide up the work, accept help from friends, and avoid becoming the person who has to do everything.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003ePart 4: Growing \u0026amp; Evolving\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat worked? What could have gone better?
